I'm pleased to finally release the title track of my new four-song EP, "Soul of Mine." While I wrote the song, the musicians who recorded on the track really gave it a voice. That includes Dusty Nichols on electric guitar and bass, Madelaine German on organ and glockenspiel, and Jacob Green on drums. I'm so excited to announce that my new four-song EP, "Soul of Mine," will finally see the light of day on Friday, March 25, and it will arrive with great company. I'll be sharing the stage with many of the talented musicians who played on my EP and three of Jackson Hole's best bands – Canyon Kids, Sneaky Pete and The Secret Weapons, and Benyaro – at the first-ever Out West Fest at the Pink Garter Theatre.
When I first moved to Jackson, Wyoming from Boston six years ago, I was a little worried that I'd be sacrificing a solid music scene, but that's been far from the truth. Though there are still many awesome local bands that won't be on stage, Out West Fest will be a celebration of the amazing original music that our mountain town has produced in recent years.
Tickets for Out West Fest are available online and at the Pink Garter Theatre and Pinky G's in Jackson. After my time playing with The Flannel Attractions, I've been lucky to have the opportunity to work with Dusty Nichols of Canyon Kids to record four new songs of mine with some of the most talented musicians in Jackson Hole.
