Our Band Inland Isle Releases Debut Album

April 30, 2021  /  Patrick Chadwick

It’s been a long time coming with all the pandemic-induced delays, but I’m so proud to release “Time Has Changed Us” from our folk-rock band Inland Isle today. We recorded the album back in the fall of 2019 in a Montana cabin, and time has certainly changed us since then. I hope you’ll give it a listen on your preferred listening platform here: https://found.ee/time-has-changed-us-album

I've Been Named a Top 10 Wyoming Musician to Watch in 2017

January 02, 2017  /  Patrick Chadwick

Patrick_Chadwick_1.jpg

Following the great news that I have been selected as one of 25 Wyoming artists to participate in the IMTour program organized with the help of the Wyoming Arts Council, My Country 95.5 in Casper has listed me among its "Top 10 Wyoming Musicians to Watch in 2017." It's surprising and an honor to be listed among so many talented artists in the Cowboy State, and I hope we all continue to get the word out elsewhere in the country.

Check out the radio station's list here.

My Article on Trump and the Fourth Estate

November 26, 2016  /  Patrick Chadwick

In late October I started writing an article on the rise of misinformation on social media this election and what it meant for journalism and public consumption of news. I had hoped – even believed – that this piece would warn about how our culture's impatience with facts let a man like Trump so close to the presidency. Instead, he became president-elect. We must now be more vigilant in processing our news going forward. Check out my Planet Jackson Hole article here.

More than a year in the making, my collaboration with singer-songwriter and friend Victor Pokorny is now available on Spotify, iTunes, Soundcloud, Google Play and other sites. It was an honor contributing to Victor's songs and vice versa. We even co-wrote a song ("I Don't Like Piña Coladas") that mentions Beyoncé. Listen on!

Out West Fest Gets Summer Seconds

August 11, 2016  /  Patrick Chadwick

We had so much fun at the inaugural Out West Fest in March that we decided to create a summer version. Backed by a badass band of Jackson Hole musicians, I'll be re-joining Canyon Kids along with the additions of Pinedale's Birdhunter and Wyomericana veterans Screen Door Porch on Sunday, August 28 starting at 5 p.m. The summer Out West Fest will be free as part of the Concerts on the Commons outdoor music series at Teton Village. Find the Facebook event here or check out the Out West Fest webpage. Come close out a summer of great concerts by supporting local, original music!

Pat + Victor with an unknown wedding party.

Pat + Victor with an unknown wedding party.

I've been working on a new five-song EP with a great singer-songwriter and friend, Victor Pokorny. We (Pat + Victor) started recording it together in Jackson Hole, but we've been finishing it over email since Victor moved to Minneapolis last year. I'm psyched to share our first song, "Call Me When You're Mine." More to come shortly!

My Story on Jackson Hole Latinos in the 2016 Elections

July 12, 2016  /  Patrick Chadwick

After filling in for a friend's music column in Planet Jackson Hole this spring, I took on the task of writing my first political/cultural story. Latinos make up nearly a third of the population in Wyoming's Teton County, and the stakes are high for them in the November elections. It was a heavy subject, but hopefully I did it justice. Read the story here.

In Memoriam: Old Red (1991 - 2016)

April 04, 2016  /  Patrick Chadwick

My 1992 Honda Accord at 200,000 miles in 2011.

Since I was young, I've had a bad habit of assigning feelings to inanimate objects, so losing my car of more than 16 years was tough last month.

Soul of Mine EP Now Available

March 27, 2016  /  Patrick Chadwick

The 2016 Out West Fest at Jackson's Pink Garter Theatre.

The 2016 Out West Fest at Jackson's Pink Garter Theatre.

Thank you to everyone who came out to Out West Fest on Friday to celebrate original music in Jackson Hole and help me give my new "Soul of Mine" EP a proper release. It was one of the funnest nights I've ever had as a musician, and I think most of the other musicians on stage felt the same way. A special thanks to Canyon Kids for leading the charge on organizing the event – they may have created a festival with serious legs in Wyoming.

There are many ways to give my new EP a listen: You can buy the CD on this site, purchase mp3s on iTunes or Google Play, or stream it on Spotify or Soundcloud. If you end up liking it, here are many of the reasons why: Dusty Nichols (co-producer, electric guitar and bass), Madelaine German (piano, organ and glockenspiel), Jacob Green (drums), Jason Baggett (drums on "Love Won't Grow"), Leif Routman (bass on "Nothing Is Quite Beautiful" and "Love Won't Grow"), Matt Herron (fiddle), Lucas Nash (mandolin), Lauren Conrad (vocals), Tom Athey (trumpet) and Mark Berry (trombone).
